JAV Codes Explained: What SSIS, MIDA and STARS Tell You Before You Watch (2026)

A JAV code is the title’s ID card: the letters are the studio (or series) and the number is the release order. SSIS-123 means S1 NO.1 STYLE’s flagship line, release 123. Read that once and every code you see afterwards tells you the label, the era and roughly the style — before you watch a frame.

The Three Parts of a Code

• Prefix (2–5 letters): the studio or series. One label runs several — MOODYZ uses MIDA for flagship, MIFD for debuts, MIAA for concept titles.
• Serial (3–4 digits): release order within that series. Higher is newer, but prefixes reset when a label rebrands, so SSIS-001 is newer than SSNI-900.
• Format: most censored labels use ABC-123; uncensored studios use their own patterns — Caribbeancom’s date-style MMDDYY-NNN, HEYZO’s plain four digits.

• Madonna: JUX → JUY → JUL → JUQ — the mature/married-woman specialist.
